Description

Nottingham Forest’s City Ground is a mere 300 metres distant from the home of local rivals Notts County’s Meadow Lane. The City Ground was opened in 1898 and remains the home of Forest. The ground was refurbished to host matches for Euro ’96 and a replacement was planned to coincide with England’s bid to host the 2018 World Cup. The new ground was put on hold when England’s bid was rejected.
