West Bromwich Albion’s home ground is The Hawthorns where they moved in 1900 when the club’s previous ground lease expired. The Hawthorns is the highest football league ground in England.

The official ground capacity was just under 65,000 supporters at its peak but some sources claim 80,000 supporters attended a 1954 FA Cup Fifth Round Match against Newcastle.
