Poststadion is a Berlin landmark constructed in 1929 for the sports club of the German postal service. The ground was the site of the first international match between Germany and England in May 1930. A crowd of approximately 45,000 watched the two countries play to a 3-3 draw. The photos in our collection date from 2000 when the ground was in a state of disrepair, happily the ground has been restored and the ground has four tenant clubs.
