Sealand Road was the home of Chester FC from 1906 until 1990. The ground was derelict for three years prior to demolition and had been allowed to decay before the club’s departure.
Sealand Road hosted Chester FC’s greatest moments in the 1974-75 League Cup when the club beat previous seasons’ First Division Champions 3-0 and defeated Newcastle United in the quarter-final before managing only a draw at home in the semi-final and losing at Villa Park.
