Somerton Park in Newport, Wales, was demolished in 1993 and was the home of Newport County AFC until their bankruptcy in 1989 followed by the brief tenancy of their successor club until final closure of the ground in 1992. Somerton Park also hosted Newport Wasps motorcycle speedway and greyhound racing.
